Cash on Delivery Policy
Cash on Delivery offers a convenient way to order your fragrances and pay when collecting your parcel from ACS. Please read the following terms carefully before selecting Cash on Delivery at checkout.
At Aroma Arabia, we are happy to offer Cash on Delivery (COD) for eligible orders delivered through ACS Courier. To help us provide this service reliably, COD orders are subject to confirmation and collection requirements.
Important — Please Read Before Ordering
Cash on Delivery is offered subject to our COD terms. A COD order may be cancelled if the required confirmation is not received, and customers who either do not confirm their COD order or do not collect a dispatched COD order within the 5-day collection period will no longer be eligible to use Cash on Delivery for future orders. Future orders can still be placed using online payment in advance.
How Cash on Delivery Works
From placing your order to collecting it from ACS, here's how our Cash on Delivery process works.
Place Your Order
Select Cash on Delivery as your payment method when completing your order on AromaArabia.com.
Confirm Your Order
For new COD orders, we will send a confirmation message to the phone number provided with your order. Please reply to confirm your order and delivery details.
Your Order Is Sent to ACS
Once your Cash on Delivery order has been confirmed, it will normally be sent to ACS on the next business day.
ACS Notifies You
Once your parcel is ready for collection, ACS will notify you using the contact information provided with your order.
Collect & Pay
Please collect your parcel as soon as possible after receiving the ACS notification. Payment is made when collecting your order.
Cash on Delivery Order Confirmation
Confirmation is required before dispatch.
For new Cash on Delivery orders, Aroma Arabia sends a confirmation message to the phone number provided by the customer before the order is dispatched.
This allows us to verify that your order and delivery details are correct and that you have read and accepted our Cash on Delivery terms.
You must reply to the confirmation message for your Cash on Delivery order to be processed.
If we do not receive a response to the confirmation message, your order will be cancelled and will not be sent to ACS.
Following a cancelled unconfirmed COD order, Cash on Delivery will no longer be available for future orders. You will still be welcome to shop with Aroma Arabia, but future orders must be paid online in advance.
Maximum Collection Period
Once your Cash on Delivery parcel is ready at ACS, it must be collected within a maximum of 5 days. Please collect your parcel as soon as you receive the notification from ACS.
What Happens If I Don't Collect My Order?
Cash on Delivery parcels that remain uncollected at ACS for the maximum 5-day collection period will be returned to Aroma Arabia.
If your COD order is returned to us because it was not collected within this period, Cash on Delivery will no longer be available for your future orders.
You will still be welcome to place new orders with Aroma Arabia, but future orders must be paid online in advance using one of our available online payment methods.
Why Do We Have This Policy?
Preparing and sending a Cash on Delivery order involves processing, packaging, delivery and, when a parcel is not collected, return costs.
Confirming COD orders before dispatch helps us avoid sending parcels that are no longer required or were placed with incorrect customer information.
The 5-day collection policy also helps us reduce unnecessary delivery and return costs and allows us to continue offering Cash on Delivery to customers who use the service responsibly.
When Cash on Delivery Becomes Unavailable
There are two situations that can result in Cash on Delivery no longer being available for your future orders.
Order Not Confirmed
If you do not reply to our COD confirmation message, your order will be cancelled. Future orders can still be placed, but online payment will be required.
Order Not Collected
If your COD parcel is not collected from ACS within the 5-day collection period and is returned to us, future orders can still be placed, but online payment will be required.
Please Remember
- Make sure the phone number and delivery details provided with your order are correct.
- New COD orders must be confirmed by replying to our confirmation message.
- An unconfirmed COD order will be cancelled and will not be sent to ACS.
- Once ACS notifies you that your parcel is ready, please collect it as soon as possible.
- The maximum ACS collection period for COD orders is 5 days.
- COD parcels not collected within the collection period will be returned to Aroma Arabia.
- Failure to confirm a COD order or collect a dispatched COD order within the required period will result in Cash on Delivery becoming unavailable for future orders.
- You can still place future orders using our available online payment methods.
Agreement to Our COD Terms
By selecting Cash on Delivery when placing your order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to this Cash on Delivery Policy, including the order confirmation and 5-day collection requirements.
